Microsoft says that, next Tuesday, it will be issuing 12 security bulletins that fix 57 vulnerabilities. Five of the bulletins are classified as critical and they affect Microsoft Windows, Internet Explorer, Exchange Server 2007 and 2010. Microsoft’s Windows 8 and RT are impacted by two of the critical bulletins.
The other bulletins are all given the “Important” classification and mostly appear to relate to Windows, though some do relate to the .NET Framework and the FAST Search Server 2010 for SharePoint. The Search Server update appears to be continuing fallout from the closing of bugs in Oracle’s Outside-In conversion libraries.
